There are a lot of toys available for children on today's market but if you shop online you should have access to worldwide products as well as UK based stores. Shopping online for toys is easy and fast and a lot of the major brands such as Brio can easily be found and bought online.

If you're interested in buying some toys for your children then you'll have a few things to think about. Firstly, you'll need to consider what you want to buy.

The Brio toys were originally from a wooden basket company that was founded in 1908 by Ivar Bengtsson. When his three sons grew up and started to help their father in the shop they decided to venture out into the toy market.

As time went on the toys started to get a good reputation for quality. They are best known for their wooden train sets. These are non-mechanical toys that are hooked together with magnets and have been sold throughout Europe since 1958. In more recent years the company has expanded its train line to battery powered and remote control engines. This is also the company that sells Thomas the Train Engine in Europe. Due to licensing issues they are not the permitted to sell them in America. This is done by Learning Curve.

Train sets have been popular for a long time and Brio is one of the most popular children's train sets available on today's market. You can choose from a variety of different colors, designs and age ranges which makes this brand very adaptable for all children and families. Brio has expanded their toy line into the construction area with kits that include long, thin slats with holes that allow young children to build a wide variety of projects. Most other wooden toy manufactures sell their products for less than Brio. Despite this Brio continues to only use old Swedish high quality wood. This is the reason for the higher price. This company believes in quality first.

The latest train set from Brio is the Arctic set. This sells for just under $24 and is made for children 3 years and up. The track is set in a figure 8 with cars and an engine; your child would love it.

Brio toys generally are more expensive then other wooden toys, but well worth the price. These toys will last for generations.
