There is a natural bond between mother and son. And you can make that bond stronger this summer. However, just buying some latest kids’ games or presenting him latest video for kids, is not enough. Share times, play with him, talk about your personal likes and dislikes with him. Your summer will turn out to be extra special for you and your son.

1. Accompany your son to his favorite sport. Better, be his play partner. Neither of you will get bored with these games especially if you share a common interest. Practice this on field or you may watch all those kids games on TV. If you are not that much into playing sport, you can easily give company to your son when he is playing or practicing and build up a beautiful mother-son relationship. Moms may also share time with their son in activities like collecting stamps or shells and in arranging these in a suitable way.

2. If your son is a young child, take him to places of interest like zoo. A zoo is no doubt a good spot for both mother and son. Children, by nature, are fond of animals. It is no doubt a good outing which does not require much money. Make sure to visit your favorite animal. Discuss with your son their food habits and other characteristics. Tell them why they are your favorite. This type of discussion increases their knowledge on animals.

3. You can play Frisbee or just walk around with your son in the nearby park in the afternoon. If your son is very young take some storybooks or children magazines along with you. Better pack some food and drinks, take your son and have lunch at park in the midst of nature. This will allow you to spend some really nice quality time with your son.
